It is the "World Thalassemia Day " on May 8th Saturday and The Raven Charitable Trust is planning to celebrate this day with the kids suffering from this disease in Udaipur. The kids belong to the age group from 1-8 years and are around 150 in number. Can you all give some innovative ideas how to organize the entire programme..... games,prizes....

Dear Doctor
ReplyDeleteIts good to hear that you are going to celebrate Thalassemia Day with the children suffering with Thalassemia in Udaipur... We are a non for profit organisation- "Nivethan" based at madurai working for treatment and cure of thalassemic children in madurai.
Ideas for celebrating the day to my knowledge could be
- Making these children happy by organising some games and distributing prizes
- Distribute dress and choclates to children
- collect funds for their treatment and cure from dedicated donors and individuals
- Take them to some parks, movies, etc
- Call for volunteers to spend a day with these children
- run awareness movie on Thalssemia for benefit of society at large

Thank u so much for ur valuable feedbacks
